Day 01: Arrive Chennai
The former name of Chennai was Madras. After arrival in this city our representative would assist you at airport and escort to the hotel. This city is known for its cultural heritage and temple architecture. Portuguese were the first westerns to settle in this area and build a port. The overnight stay would be at hotel.
Day 02: Chennai - Mahabalipuram (70 km - 02 hr)
The places of interest are Fort St. George, the first bastion of British power in India & built in the year 1640 AD, St. Mary's Church, built in the year 1680, Fort Museum that displays arsenal, old uniforms, dishes & silverware, coins, palanquins, paintings, letters, artifacts, etc
Established in the year 1857 national art gallery is one of the finest museums of the country. We shall visit this government museum that has fine archaeological section representing major rulers and dynasties of south India.
Later, we shall proceed towards Mahabalipuram, town of temples. Once it was the main port and naval base of the great Pallava kingdom and later on transformed into the capital city. Most of the temples are dedicated to lord Shiva and Vishnu. The monuments listed among UNESCO world heritage site are classic examples of Dravidian architecture.
Day 03: Mahabalipuram - Excursion to Kanchipuram (70 km - 02 hr)
Enjoy your guided tour of Mahabalipuram, some of the oldest temples are located here that belong to the 8th Century AD.
One special structure is Pancha Rathas. It is named after pandavas. They are classical examples of architecture. Later on we shall proceed towards Kanchipuram, which is one of the seven holy cities in the country and an important learning center. Kailasanatha Temple, built in 8th Century AD is famous for its beautiful carvings & magnetizes devotees & tourists alike.
The overnight stay would be at Mahabalipuram.
Day 04: Mahabalipuram - Tanjore (300 km - 06 hr)
On the 4th day, we will proceed towards Tanjore. This area is well known for preserving traditional art for several centuries. It is called as the rice bowl of Tamil Nadu. Silk weaving is an important activity and exquisite handicrafts such as art plate, bronze icons, paintings and musical instruments are also famous products.
You will get opportunity to visit Brihadeeshwara temple built by Rajaraja Chola in 1010 CE. Listed amongst UNESCO World Heritage Sites, it is a classic example of the Dravidian style of temple architecture.
The overnight stay would be at Tanjore.
Day 05: Tanjore - Madurai via Trichy (200 km - 04 hr)
On the 5th day, we shall leave for Madurai which has been an important commercial center. We will take a pause at Trichy that has historic temples and monuments.
The Tiruchirapalli Rock Fort is a significant fort and temple compound built on an ancient rock. Its most amazing fact is age of rock that is estimated to be 1 billion years.
Day 06: Madurai - Periyar (136 km - 03 hr)
Today on the 6th day of the tour, we shall visit Meenakshi temple originally built 2000 years ago but expanded in several phases. It has thousand pillars in its external corridor.
Afterward, we shall proceed towards Periyar that has most popular wildlife sanctuary of the south India. It is a very rare opportunity to see tigers, elephants, wild boar and rare birds in their natural environment.

Day 07: Periyar - Cochin (190 km - 04 hr)
After breakfast, we shall drive towards Cochin that has been popular platform for sea trade. It has one of the finest natural harbors on the Arabian coastline.
This city has protected its ancient culture and you can attend popular classical dance performances of kathakali. The overnight stay would be at the hotel.
Day 08: Cochin
Dutch palace gifted by Portuguese people to raja of Cochin is an important tourist destination. This palace also has two temples on the either side. You can feel the aroma of spices as it is a important trade of this place.
Day 09: Cochin - Goa
After arrival to this smallest Indian state you will understand its charisma. Tourism is the most important occupation of the occupants of the city and the living conditions are far better in comparison to rest of India due to high GDP. Due to its exotic location and bio diversity, it is regarded as paradise by tourists.
Day 10: Goa
We shall visit Dona Paula; it is a former village and important tourist destination. It has some of the most popular and famous churches. In last few years it has become a common trend for newlywed couples to visit Goa for their honeymoon. It has excellent yet affordable facilities for travel and leisure.
Day 11 & Day 12: Goa
The day is absolutely free for leisure, enjoy the warmth of sun on golden beaches and invite happiness in life.
Overnight stay would be at hotel in Goa.
