Day 01 - Arrive Chennai
After arrival to this industrial city popularly known as the Detroit of India, our representative would assist you at the airport.
This city is the biggest commercial and industrial sector in the south India. This city has many ancient temples and classic monuments that clearly indicate about its rich cultural history. There are many structures and buildings designed by English architectures during the British raj in India. Take proper rest and prepare for exciting sightseeing of the city. Overnight stay would be at hotel.

Day 02: Chennai - City Tour, Chennai – Mahabalipuram (70 km - 02 hr)
Your second day would be very busy because we shall visit St. George, the first bastion of British power in India & built in the year 1640 AD by the British East India Company. Within the fort complex there is St. Mary's Church, built in the year 1680. A museum displays armory, old uniforms, crockery & silverware, coins, palanquins, paintings, letters, old prints, etc.
Mahabalipuram is the town of temples and is known internationally for beautiful shore temples. It was an important port and naval base of Pallva kingdom and later was transformed into the capital. Thousands of structures are devoted to Lord Shiva. The city is filled with temples developed in the Dravidian type architecture. They are now classified at the UNESCO world heritage site. Overnight stay would be in Chennai.

Day 03: Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram (130 Km, 05 hours)
Early in the morning, we shall depart for Mahabalipuram and visit the ancient temples.
Kanchipuram, once a learning center for Tamil and Sanskrit would be our next destination. It is regarded as one of the seven Indian cities to reach final attainment. This historical city had several thousand temples and several hundred are surviving to this date. You can also enjoy shopping of silk sarees.
The thousand year old temples are finest examples of creativity and are refereed as architectural masterpiece. They attract national and international tourist who wonder how the construction have taken place of these magnificent structures in absence of modern technology. You will appreciate the excellent craft work and carvings on the walls that depict incidents and stories. The overnight stay would be in Mahabalipuram.
Day 04: Mahabalipuram
Feel the rich glorious past of this region after visiting the -8th century Pallava rock-cut caves, Pancha Ratha temples and the Black Pagoda. In the afternoon you are free to stroll in market and at the beach. The overnight stay would be at hotel.

Day 05: Mahabalipuram - Chidambaram - Gangaikondacholapuram - Tanjore
In the morning, we shall proceed towards Tanjore. Our first stop would be at the golden Nataraj temple. Afterwards our journey would be proceeding towards Gangaikondacholapuram – the capital of the Cholas. Most of the temples are dedicated to Lord Shiva. Most of the temples are masterpiece of architectural grandeur.
After arrival at Tanjore, check in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 06: Tanjore - Trichy (56 Km, 01.1/2 hours)
Our next day would begin with the sightseeing of Tanjore. We shall visit the Brihadeeshwara temple built by great king Rajaraja. This mighty king was a staunch believer of lord Shiva. This place is a paradise for travel aficionados. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07: Trichy - Madurai (131 Km, 03 hours)
In the morning we shall depart for Madurai. You would be provided with comfortable accommodation facility. The interesting places of Madurai are Thirumalai Nayakar Palace and Meenakshi temple. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 08: Madurai - Periyar (140 Km, 04 hours)
Early in the morning, we shall depart for Periyar. This is a protected area and located high in the Cardamom Hills and Pandalam Hills of the southern Western Ghats. This area is very rich in flora and fauna. If you are fortunate then it can be a rare opportunity to see endangered Bengal tigers. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 09: Periyar - Houseboat Cruise - Kumarakom
In the morning you shall board the Houseboat Cruise in the backwaters of Kerala. Kumarakom Bird sanctuary located on the bank of Vembanad Lake is famous due to presence of regional and migratory birds. Main attractions are Siberian crane, ducks, parrot teal and many more.
Afterwards board the houseboat and observe the daily schedule of the villagers and overnight stay would be on houseboat.

Day 10: Houseboat Cruise - Alleppey - Cochin (60 Km, 01.1/2 hours)
The Houseboat will drop you at Alleppey to board your vehicle to Cochin. After arrival in a hotel, we shall visit the beautiful Dutch palace, Jewish Synagogue, Chinese fishing nets. Watch the traditional kathakali dance and overnight stay would be in hotel.

Day 11: Cochin
On 11 day we shall visit Paradesi Jew town synagogue originally built in the year 1567 but still active. It is beautifully adorned with Chinese tiles & Belgian chandeliers. If you visit the spice market, pungent smell of spice can be felt.
In the evening enjoy the most popular classical dance, Kathakali. Overnight stay would be at Cochin hotel.
